Samuel B. Cohen presently co-chairs the New York County Lawyers’ Association’s Civil Rights and Liberties Committee, and sits on the Association’s Justice Advisory Board, as well as serving as an alternate delegate to the New York State Bar Association’s House of Delegates. He teaches and moderates continuing legal education courses on civil rights litigation and protest rights for his fellow attorneys, and regularly participates in community legal education programs in underserved areas in New York. He has addressed undergraduate and law student assemblies and symposia, as well as high school legal education programs, and is available for teaching and speaking engagements.
